Bloodspoor Dog Training

Designed for hunters who rely on dependable tracking during game recovery, our bloodspoor program develops a dog’s ability to:

  • Track across tough terrain including bush, rocky outcrops, and open plains

  • Focus under pressure and work silently over long distances

  • Stay composed during high-adrenaline tracking and recovery

Bloodspoor dogs are invaluable companions for ethical hunting and efficient recovery of wounded animals.

Bird Dog Training (Pointing & Retrieving)

From flushing Guinea fowl in tall grass to steady retrieves in varied conditions, our bird dog training covers:

  • Pointing and marking upland birds (e.g., Greywing Francolin)

  • Steady-to-flush control and whistle recall

  • Gunshot desensitization and field obedience

  • Land and water retrieves

We work with breeds such as German Shorthaired Pointers, Labradors, Vizslas, and other sporting companions.

Our Training Methodology

We train dogs in authentic hunting environments, exposing them to the sights, sounds, and smells of a real safari experience.
Our approach includes:

  • Positive reinforcement methods tailored to your dog’s drive and temperament

  • Structured daily routines with bushveld tracking, obedience, and scent drills

  • Gradual off-leash freedom and command reliability in the field

All dogs are housed in safe, clean kennels with individual attention from professional handlers.
